BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR & STAFF $1,285.00

This fee is to gather vital statistic information, record the death with the State of Illinois and County of Death and any Local requirements to secure the proper permission and permits needed to bury, entomb, cremate or send to another state or country. This task is governed by Illinois state statute requiring a properly licensed funeral director to contract with the legally authorized family member or authorized agent; gather and process the information and obtain the proper permits for the legal disposition of the decedent, coordinate final disposition with cemetery, crematory or other entity. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)

EMBALMING $950.00

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

USE OF FACILITIES & STAFF FOR VISITATION (up to 4 hours) $950.00

This charge may include: licensed funeral direction, supervision, placement and positioning of the deceased, set up of flowers and other items; equipment and necessary staff for viewing and gathering.

USE OF FACILITIES AND STAFF FOR CEREMONY OR MEMORIAL (2 hour) $750.00

USE OF STAFF AND EQUIPMENT FOR OFFSITE CEREMONY $750.00

USE OF STAFF AND EQUIPMENT FOR CEMETERY SERVICE (1 hour) $500.00

USE OF FACILITIES AND STAFF FOR EACH ADDITIONAL HOUR VIEWING, OR CEREMONIES $375.00

TRANSFER OF DECEDENT $595.00

Upon notification from the duly authorized person, we will deploy a licensed funeral director and staff necessary to retrieve the decedent from the place of death locally (home, nursing facility, hospital, hospice inpatient facility or other institution; or to another destination). The decedent will be transported in a properly licensed and insured vehicle, required for safe and dignified carriage.

FUNERAL COACH (HEARSE) $595.00

Utilized for the dignified transport of decedent for funeral, cortege when applicable or requested.

LIMOUSINE or FLOWER CAR (UP TO 5 HOURS) $560.00

Note: Any transportation beyond 30 mile radius incurs $3.00/mile surcharge.

DIRECT CREMATION $2,880.00 to $3,180.00

The charge for a direct cremation includes removal of remains, local transportation to crematory, necessary authorizations, and basic services of the staff, securing local permits and basic cremation fee of $300.00. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering).

Add $100.00 for crematory fee if deceased is over 300 lb. to 425 lb. 

IMMEDIATE BURIAL    Starting at $2,475.00

The charge for immediate burial includes removal of remains, local transportation to the cemetery, necessary authorizations and basic services of staff. This charge does not include the use of facilities and staff for any visitation or ceremony, public or private, prior to burial.

FORWARDING REMAINS TO ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME $3,425

This charge includes removal of remains, basic services of staff, embalming, necessary authorizations, and local transportation to airport. This charge does not include visitation, rites or ceremonies prior to forwarding of the body.

RECEIVING REMAINS FROM ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME $2,475.00

This charge includes pick-up of remains, transportation of remains to cemetery and basic services of staff. This charge does not include visitation, rites, or ceremonies.
