Obituary
Sr. Laura (Margaret) Swedowski, C.R., Member of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Resurrection died February 10 at Resurrection Life Center. Loving daughter of the late John and Martha (Wierzba) Swedowski. Preceded in death by her brothers, Leonard, Clarence, Frank, Joseph and Daniel; and sisters Martha, Esther, Pauline, Regina, Verna, Mary, and Elizabeth. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Elementary school teacher for many years. Dedicated religious who will be missed by her Sisters. Visitation Sunday Feb. 12, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy., Park Ridge. Funeral Monday 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Paul of the Cross Church. Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Masses or Memorials to the Sisters of the Resurrection’s Retirement Fund appreciated.
