Patricia H Besaw

Patricia H. Besaw, 93, of Maywood, Illinois died May 25, 2022 under Hospice care.  She was born July 19, 1928 and married to Gerald B. Besaw, a WWII veteran who predeceased her.  Her son, Roger predeceased her in 2010.  She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Krysa, her sons, Kerry and Gordon, along with 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  

During her life she helped organize the original 911 commission, and served as Vice-chair, Secretary and Finance Officer over her 6 year commission with them. She served on the Maywood Bataan Day board as Treasurer and Secretary for 31 years and was the Maywood Historical Society, Vice President, for 2 years. 

Anyone who knew her, knew her love for cats.  We know at the Rainbow Bridge she will have been greeted by all her fur babies and tears of joy will be streaming down her face as she crosses that bridge.  She is whole and healed with no pain and at peace.

Respecting her wishes, there will be no services.  Interment is at Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Elmhurst, Illinois.
