Mary McAdow

In Loving Memory of Mary Lou McAdow, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, just shy of her 85th birthday and 62nd wedding anniversary. A longtime resident of Northlake, Mary Lou was known for her love of family, antiques, flowers, pizza, and snowflakes. Her family fondly recalls how every snowfall would prompt calls from loved ones asking, “Is Mary Lou happy?”

She is survived by her devoted husband, William McAdow; her children Lori (Tim) and Brian (Kelly); her grandchildren Amanda (Dan), McKenna, and Myla; and her great-grandchildren Grayson and Landon. Her love for family and friends was the heart of her life, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 26th, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Northlake Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Mary Lou’s honor.

Her memory will live on in the laughter she shared, the beauty she saw in antiques, and the joy she found in every snowflake.
