Laura June Fortier Barr

Laura was born on December 5, 1964 in Winfield, Illinois to Donald Fortier and Carol Lehman (Herman) of Glendale Heights, Illinois. She passed away on September 2, 2021 in St. Cloud Florida. During her life she attended National Louis University and graduated in the class of 2003. She married Michael Barr they resided in Bartlett Illinois. Together they had 2 children, Brandon & Ashley Barr. Preceding her in death was her father Donald Fortier and brother Michael Fortier. Her mother, Carol Fortier passed October 2, 2021, a month after her. Surviving are her 2 sisters and 1 brother Diane Macek (Jerry Przybylka),Dawn (Jesus) Hernandez, Donald Scott Fortier; nephews, Sean & Chad Macek, Jesse & Daniel Hernandez, and niece Dianna (Eric) Zamora. She worked for FedEx for many years. She was loved and will be missed.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. November 6, 2021 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1213 Army Trail Blvd, Addison, IL 60101.
