Kristine (Tina) Mary Ellison (nee Wendt), age 75, a resident of Northlake, Illinois for over 40 years passed away June 15, 2025. She was born June 3, 1950 In Chicago, Illinois to the late Robert and Dorothy (nee Nelson) Wendt. If you knew Tina, you couldn’t help but love her for her gentleness and kindness. She was also one to tell it like it is whether you liked it or not (no filters). She will live on in our hearts forever!  

Kristine is survived by her children, Thomas Ellison and Julie Bain; grandson, Michael Bain; and her twin brother, Michael Wendt. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gary Ellison; and siblings, Donald Wendt, Judith Wendt, Sharon Wiginton, Richard and Robert Wendt, and Lee Wendt. Kristine was a cherished aunt and great aunt to many. And a bonus mom to many.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 23, 2025 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Northlake Funeral Home, 140 E. North Ave., Northlake, Illinois. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Fairview Memorial Park, Northlake, Illinois.
