Flora Makhlouf

Flora Makhlouf passed away peacefully on February 6, 2025. She was a warm and loving wife and mother, as well as a proud grandmother. She was a talented seamstress for many years, but one of her greatest joys in life was cooking traditional dishes for her family. Her hummus and dolma dishes, just to name a few, will be missed far and wide.

Flora was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Odeh, and sisters Nora, Nellie, and Clara. She is survived by her son, Sam (Nicole), cherished grandchildren Sienna and Samantha, brothers Robert (Jihan) and George, and her many nieces and nephews.

Flora will be dearly missed. May her memory be eternal.

Visitation for Mrs. Flora Makhlouf will be Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service 8:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Melkite Church, Northlake. Funeral Service Wednesday 12 noon at the church. Committal Service with Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
