Dolores Vollmann

Dolores F. Vollmann, age 95, passed away Monday, July 10th. A loving daughter of the late Matthias and Catherine nee Land, Vollmann; dear sister of Loretta (Ray) Ragusa, the late Joan (Richard) Vanni, the late Marie (Charles) Shanley, the late Rita Vollmann, the late James (La Verne) Vollmann, and the late Joseph Vollmann. Beloved aunt and great-aunt to many adoring nieces and nephews.

Our dear Dolly was an adventurous world traveler to North America and Europe, avid summer golfer and winter bowler, skilled crossword puzzler, and generous volunteer at Gottlieb and Shriners Children’s Hospitals. Well known as a social butterfly, she made friends wherever she went. Dolly lived a fulfilling life strengthened by her faith and will be greatly missed. Visitation, Tuesday, July 18, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until time of 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at the Chapel of Villa Scalabrini, 480 N. Wolf Road, Northlake. Committal Service with Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Casa Scalabrini, Gottlieb or Shriners Children’s Hospital appreciated.
