Charles Fowler Obituary

CHARLES FOWLER, 52 OF AURORA; unexpectedly passed away June 21, 2021. Charles was the gravitational pull that centered his family, inspiring his wife, two daughters and many friends to success. Charles embodied the right standard, always setting the example for others to follow. The Marine Corps shaped him, but his fierce and lively love for his wife Rocio gave him true form. Most remember Charles for his wit, generosity, and passion , but Charles also left us with remnants of himself in the form of artistic hardscapes scattered throughout Illinois. The food, the people, the culture and the Cubs. Charles loved all of Chicago. With his passing, his family, friends and city have lost their biggest fan.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Rocio Fowler; his daughters, Monica Ann Van Ness and Melissa Ashley Fowler; his sister Broxy Meyer. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Fowler and step-father Richard Meyer and a brother, Frank Fowler.
