Shelby J. Lanningham, 81 born in South Carolina on April 29th 1940. She resided in Chicago Illinois for many years and in 2008 moved to Vinemont Alabama. She leaves behind her son Roger (Karen) Lanningham, grandchildren William (Jennifer) Milde, Stephanie (Danielle) McConkey, Christopher (Paulina) Lanningham and Antoniyo Gay. Great grandchildren Lexi, Kaleb, Kaitlyn, Hailey and Andrew. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Lanningham, her daughter Kathy Gay, her son Lonnie Lanningham and her great grandson Joshua Milde. She leaves behind not only her best friend whom is like a sister Linda Adamson. She is a loving sister of five siblings. She enjoyed  traveling and spending time with her beloved dog Missy and her family. She was an avid Bell and knick knack collector and when she or family traveled she always had a new addition to her collection. She had many nieces and nephews whom she adored and loved spending time with. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Our world is a darker place without her light.
