Richard Michael Lischalk, age 76, a lifetime Chicago resident, passed away January 19, 2023. Richard was born November 7, 1946 to the late Michael and Marian Lischalk.  His twin, Michael, passed away at birth. After graduating from Gordon Tech High School in 1964, he went into the military.  He was a proud Army Veteran. Richard enjoyed sports, especially watching his grandchildren play. He loved company, visiting with people, joking around and a good meal.  He always showed up with a smile on his face, an appetite and Tupperware for leftovers.  He was a good friend and neighbor and enjoyed serving on his condo board. Richard is survived by his sister Maria Hodgson, his children Robert (Lisette)and Brian (Lisa) and his grandchildren Anthony, Isaac, Gabriel, Leila, Elise, Lincoln, Zack, Alex, Ashley and Izabel. There are many stories to tell…but not to be written.  If you know, you know. Richard will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation is Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Service 2:00 p.m. at Northlake Funeral Home. Committal Service with Military Honors will follow at Fairview Memorial Cemetery, Northlake.
