Michael William Sidor, 34, of Northlake, IL passed away on December 15th, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.   Visitation will be 10:00 am –1:00 pm December 23, 2021 at the Northlake Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.  Burial will follow the service at Concordia Cemetery, Forest Park, IL.

Mike was born in Elmhurst Hospital on March 23, 1987.  He graduated from West Leyden High School in 2005.  After graduation he attended Triton College and worked at Sheridan Plumbing as a Robot Repair Technician. Depending on who you talked to, Mike was known as Michael, Mike or Mikey.  Michael was a retro video game enthusiast; whether playing games, collecting game systems and games or repairing game systems; he loved it all.  He loved to cook and garden, creating new dishes for family and friends.  Mike's other passions included restoring cars, traveling, fishing, fixing up his house and spending time with family and friends.  He had a knack for fixing anything from small home appliances to heavy machinery.  His sense of humor and wit could make you laugh.  Anyone that knew Mikey would say he was sweet and always willing to help others. Michael is survived by his parents Wayne and Cynthia (Kramer), which loved more than words can express, his brother Patrick (Francis), devoted girlfriend Cassie Gort, God Parents Eric (Jina) Kramer and Karen Schroeder, and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
