MARIA VARELA DE PASTRANA, 73,  passed away Friday January 26 2024. She was born June 6, 1950 to Cirino Varela and Francisca Navarrete; Loving mother of  Maria del Rosario Perez, Ramiro Pastrana, Magdalena Pastrana, Jose Adan (Sherryne) Pastrana, Maria Estela Pastrana (Ernesto), Porfirio Pastrana, Josepaz Mijares; 24 Grandkids and 14 Great-grandkids;  Partner of Gabino Mijares for over 30 years; Sister of Cleotilde Varela, Jose Trinidad Varela, Juana Varela, Socorro Lozoya, Manuel Varela, Lupe Varela, Salvador Varela and Francisca Gomes. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation Sunday February 4, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Northlake Funeral Home. Funeral Mass Monday 10 a.m. at St. Gertrude Church, Franklin Park. Committal Service with Burial at Fairview Memorial Park, Northlake.
