Larry was born on July 6th. 1951.  He grew up in Northlake, IL & graduated from West Leyden high school, class of 1969. On any given day, you might find him fishing, drinking a beer, having a smoke & telling corny jokes. He especially liked fishing with his grandchildren. He loved all Chicago sports teams but the Cubbies were his favorite. He loved his family & he'd brag about his children & grandchildren to anyone who would listen.  He truly enjoyed family time around a fire pit & playing games & sharing stories.  He was great at trivia. He had a heart of gold & would be willing to give you the shirt off his back. He passed peacefully on April 20, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Sr &  Virginia, his wife, Deborah (McCauley) and his brother James. He is survived by his children, Lawrence III (Queri Perez), Kristin (James) Andersen, Heather (Cliff) Matuszak. Grandchildren Joshua, James, Emily, Matthew, Cody, Tyler & Morgan.  Dear brother to Darlene (Robert) Behland, Kathlene (Gerald) Lindahl.  Brother in law to Kathleen (John) North. He is loved by many nieces & nephews as well as many friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 25, from 4:00 - 8:00pm at Northlake Funeral Home,140 E. North Ave., Northlake 60164. A prayer service will take place on Wednesday, April 26 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by graveside burial service at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
