Joseph M. Ribandt, age 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at his home in Waupaca, WI.  He was born on December 30, 1930 in Chicago, IL; son of Joseph F. and Pauline (Pfeifer) Ribandt.  On March 17, 1984, Joe married Marilyn Fiebig at Bethany Lutheran Church in Chicago, IL.  He will be dearly missed by all of his loving family and friends.

Joe is survived by his wife, Marilyn Ribandt of Waupaca, WI; three children, Joy (Stephan) Blatt of Machesney Park, IL, Mark (Kim) Ribandt of Elgin, IL, and Michael Ribandt of Loves Park, IL; four grandchildren, Josh (Siobahn) Taylor of Oswego, IL, Ryan Ribandt of Elgin, IL, Tyler Ribandt of Elgin, IL, Jessica (Brian) Boisvert of Poplar Grove, IL; and a great-grandson, Carter Boisvert of Poplar Grove, IL.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Pauline Ribandt.

A visitation for Joe will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI and also on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Northlake Funeral Home in Northlake, IL.  A Private Family Graveside Service will be at Elm Lawn Memorial Park in Elmhurst, IL.  The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI and the Northlake Funeral Home of Northlake, IL assisting the family with arrangements.
