John McHugh, 91 of Naples, FL former resident of Northlake passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022. He was the husband of the late Noreen, nee Walsh who passed in 1995; father of Jack (Lita), Jim (Jackie), late Carol, Eileen (Gary), Bob, Mary (Joe); grandfather of ten; great-grandfather of five; brother of William, Joan (late Bernie) Roer and the late Mary Claire Sanders, late Rosemary DeGrave, late Ruth Powers, late Janet McHugh. Mr. Mc Hugh was in the Army during the Korean War. He later was elected to alderman during the early 1970s in Northlake and was a member of the American Legion Post #888 and VFW Post # 6366.

Visitation Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Northlake Funeral Home. Funeral Prayers Friday, July 1, 2022, 11:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. John Vianney Church for Funeral Mass 12:30 p.m. Immediately following will be the Committal Service and Military Honors with burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
