Jo Ann Allen, a beloved longtime resident of Hillside, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2024. Jo Ann was a devoted member of Bethel United Church of Christ in Elmhurst. She shared a passion for square dancing with her late husband, Ted, who passed away in 1997. Jo Ann is survived by her loving children: Ted Allen, Jesse (Karen) Allen, and Paula (Jim) Hantak. She cherished her grandson, Dan (Joanna) Allen, and her great-granddaughter, Emmeline Rose Allen, who brought immense joy to her life. A memorial service to celebrate Jo Ann's life will be scheduled in the near future. Details will be announced once they are finalized.
