James (Jim) Thomas Arman Sr., (born October 31, 1959) age 57 of Arlington Heights, IL, passed suddenly Dec 11, 2016 at his home. A Beloved father, survived by James (Jimmy) T Arman Jr and Catherine (Cathy) Arman and Lorna Arman, their mother. Proud Grandfather to Michael, Joseph, Trevor and Dominic. Fond brother to Edward (Pat) Arman, Alfred Arman Sr. and Anna Hanlon and many nieces/nephews, great nieces/nephews and great-great nieces/nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred & Elizabeth Arman, brother John Arman Sr and sister Julie (Arthur) LaRiccia.

Owner of Fred Arms Electric in Stone Park, IL., and member of E.A.S.A., Jim loved his grandsons and taught them to build simple things in the shop. He enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycle and road trips throughout the states. He was an avid camper and loved Alaskan and Island cruises. He had been to Bahamas, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Freeport and Mexico. He enjoyed family holiday gatherings, especially his birthday; Halloween and the Annual New Years Day Zoo trips. He always talked about his children and the family legacy which he was able to see before his passing. He will live on thru his children and grandsons who admired their Dad and Papa. Jim Sr will be missed.

A Memorial Service will be Friday, Dec. 16, 2016 at the Northlake Funeral Home, 4 pm to 7 pm. Memorials accepted to the children for expenses.
