Glen Ellyn - Jacqueline Ann Rudek, age 76, beloved Mother of four, peacefully passed away on June 11, 2026 in her home in Glen Ellyn, IL. Jackie, as she was known as to her family and friends, was born October 10, 1950 to the late Lawrence Major and Edna Markham. Renowned for her resilience and unwavering faith during her battle with cancer in her fifties, she continued to serve as support staff in a nursing home, where her compassion was deeply valued by the residents. After retiring Jackie loved solitary pursuits such as reading, word search puzzles, bible studies, and watching those old movie classics from her favorite recliner. She cherished moments with her family, whether it involved sharing laughter over jokes, playing Scrabble, enjoying her “famous” dumplings, or reminiscing about past memories. Jackie found immense joy in her prayer life and considered it a blessing to pray for others. Jackie is survived by her siblings, Nancy, Sharon, Jeannette, Lawrence, Jerome, Donna, Allen, Lenny, Tammy, the late Anna Marie and Kenneth; half-sister, Kathie Weidman,  her children Robert (Lisette), Brian (Paula), Lauren (Rick), and Michael (Elizabeth), her grandchildren Anthony, Isaac, Owen, Gabriel, Leila, Colin, Elise, Lincoln, Jessica, Brandon, Benjamin, Ashley and Izabel, and great grandchildren Sienna, Silas, Ricardo Jr., Aiden, Javier, and Ivan. Her life was a rich and diverse tapestry with much love and many highlights, and she was grateful for it.

Visitation is Friday, June 19, 2026 from 10:00am until time of service 2:00pm at Northlake Funeral Home. Committal Service will follow at Fairview Memorial Cemetery, Northlake.
