Frederick G. Meyer, 80 of Bloomingdale passed away August 6, 2022, with his loving family at his bedside. Fred was born in Chicago to Williard and Hilda Meyer. He served in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1966. After many years of service, he was retired from Molex where he was a tool and die maker.

Fred is the beloved husband of Linda (nee)  Lindsay for 58 years; dear father of Robyn Meyer, Rhonda (Jerry) LaCorte and Michael (Tracy) Meyer; cherished grandpa of Tyler, Jerry Jr., Jacob, Hailey and Joseph; fond brother of Richard (Jan) Meyer and the late Dorothy Magers, Williard Meyer, Bettyann Erickson and Shirley Mae Meyer.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until noon. Service from 12:00-1: 00 pm . at Community of Christ Church, 1675 E. Chicago Street, Elgin IL 60120. Military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Army following the service.
