Visitation for Mr. Eric LePak will be Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. with a Service of Remembrance at 1:30 p.m. at Northlake Funeral Home.

Eric Gerhardt LePak lived an exciting life filled with travel, adventure and family. In 1971 Eric attended the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign). Eric then enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving in Vietnam as a Medic and was later stationed at Spangdolem Air Force Base in Germany where his duties consisted of working for dentists at the base hospital while studying toward his degree in medicine. He graduated from Heidelberg University in Germany. Eric completed his military career in 1977 as the youngest Staff Sergeant while serving in Europe.

When Eric returned home from military service, he continued pursuing his medical education while working as a floor manager at Playskool Toy Factory in Chicago where he met his wife, Margarita. They married in 1980 and enjoyed dancing, traveling and sailing.

Eric is survived by his wife Margarita and their children, Griselle, Pete, Karl and his nephew Tony who he considered to be a son. He is also survived by his brother Gregory and sister Janet.
