Obituary

1922-2015

Born in a rural farming area of Wisconsin, she saw many changes over the years.  The installation of electricity and indoor plumbing made life easier but she worked hard in the fields, picked berries, worked at the 5 & 10 store, and studied to become a Teacher of grades 1 through 8 in one room school houses.  She married a young man who went off to WWII and returned to start a family but soon realized his plans for life did not include her or her newborn Son.  After years of sacrifice and struggle she married a wonderful man, Irvin and shared many good times until his passing in 2013.  A bookkeeper for many years with the Rothschild Liquor company.  An avid crocheter, she has made dozens and dozens, if not hundreds of lap style afghans for Veteran's Hospitals and other groups.  She was a kind and generous person, survived by her Loving Son, Bruce and Nieces & Nephews.
