Robert B. Sullivan Jr.

Robert B. Sullivan Jr. “Bobby”, beloved husband of Mona, loving father of Brian Sullivan.  Brother of Tim and Judy.  Proud uncle of Danny, Aaron, Rory, Phillip, Bobby, Robert, Bryan, Gabriel, Simon and Bryanna.  Robert leaves behind his loving macaw “Scarlet”.  Robert grew up in Chicago, attending Irving Park elementary and graduated from Carl Schurz High School in 1966.  He entered the Air Force in 1967 and was Honorably Discharged in 1970 following a skydiving injury.  After the military, he attended Aurora University, Missouri Auctioneering School + worked at Kane County Juvenile Correction center.  After that he operated a Heating, Cooling + Electrical business as well as the Action Auction Barn in Batavia, IL.   Later in life he worked at Hines VA Hospital filling various roles.   He was a self-proclaimed junk + Antique collector and had a secret ambition to operate a hardware store.  A jack of all trades and master of most.  He enjoyed scuba diving, bowling, darts, pool, boating, fireworks, gambling, a good Bloody Mary and nice nap after a big meal.  We were blessed to know his great sense of humor and his love for helping others to light up our lives.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 23 from 4-7pm at the Northlake Funeral Home 140 E. North Ave., Northlake Il. 60164.
