Dolores Louise (Lass) Brown

Dolores “Dee” Louise Brown (Lass) passed away in the evening of August 24, 2019 after her battle with NET cancer.  Dee was the second daughter born in Chicago, Il.  to Albert Louis Lass & Louise Frances Lass (Spitzock).  Dee loved to roller skate beginning at a young age.  She met David F. Brown at the Hub Roller Rink and they were later married & blessed with a baby girl they named Jenine Kelly Brown.  Dee continued to roller skate throughout her life as it became one of her passions.  She loved going to garage sales, flea markets, and thrift stores.  She enjoyed baking & sharing her treats with family & friends.  She enjoyed making cd’s for herself & others.  She enjoyed researching and reading articles on her computer.  She enjoyed playing the organ, having a garden & home grown veggies.  She loved going on cruises, going to Disney World to see Mickey Mouse and enjoyed being outside.  Dee loved Elvis Presley and everyone knew that! 

Dee was preceded in death by her parents Albert Louis Lass & Louise Frances Lass (Spitzock)

Left to honor & remember her love are her daughter Jenine Kelly Jigalov (Brown), Father of her daughter(ex-husband) David Foster Brown, her sister Darlene (Al) Knueppel (Lass/Schuhrke), her nieces Corinne(Richard) Sitarski (Schuhrke) & Karen Deines (Schuhrke), & her nephew Kenneth Schuhrke. her best friend Patricia Gould & her daughter Barb Gould, along with many great nieces & nephew, great great nephews, cousins, and friends.

Family & friends whose lives Dee touched are invited to reminisce, grieve, & support each other at her services on Sept 3 & 4, 2019.
