Leonard Kotelman Obituary

Leonard Kotelman, world's best story teller, passed away peacefully in his home on August 22, 2023 at the age of 77. We lost a father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and a friend. He was a proud father of three; Gina, Tony, and Nikkie. Son of navy veteran Ozzie and loving mother Gladys Kotelman Brother to Glady Chiovino. He was an army veteran and a retired stationary engineer with local 399 who worked for Hyatt Regency O'Hare for almost 40 years. Back in the day if he wasn't building race cars, playing softball, or getting all dressed up singing "Quando Quando Quando" in his knits, you would find him relaxing with an Old Style watching Rocky movies. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace pops. Visitation will be Monday, August 28, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Northlake Funeral Home, 140 East North Avenue in Northlake. Interment will take place the following day at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
